1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Dissolve soda in 1/3 cup buttermilk. Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil, and 2/3 cup buttermilk and beat about 2 minutes at medium speed. Add the soda and buttermilk mixture. Mix well and add coconut, vanilla and nuts. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
