BOURBON DOGS 
1 c. bourbon
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. catsup
2-3 lbs. cocktail franks or reg. frankfurters cut in 1 inch chunks
1 c. chili sauce
1 c. dark brown sugar

Mix all ingredients together in a slow cooker and simmer for one to two hours. Serve warm with toothpicks.

Great recipe with some modifications. I increased the chili sauce to 1 1/2 cups; increased the ketchup to 3/4 cup and increased the minced onion to 2 tbsp. Without these adjustments, the bourbon was a little overpowering.
