MOLASSES DOUGHNUTS 
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sour milk
4 c. flour (may take more)
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger

Mix well and refrigerate for several hours. Roll out on lightly floured board and fry a few at a time in deep fat. Remove from fat and drain on paper towels. Store tightly covered when cool.
