PUMPKIN NUT BREAD | |
3 1/2 c. plain flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 2/3 c. water 3 c. sugar 1 c. pecans 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin 1 c. salad oil Sift dry ingredients together. Quickly add remaining liquid ingredients. Mix only until dry ingredients are soft. Bake in two greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pans for 1 hour. Let cool 5 minutes. TOPPING: 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
