PUMPKIN BREAD 
1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/3 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/3 c. flour

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Then at 325 degrees or 300 degrees for the remaining time. Bake in bread pan or round angel food cake pan.

My friend gave me this recipe 10 years ago. Its the best pumpkin bread recipe, not too dense or heavy, very moist. I have made dozens and dozens of pumpkin breads for my kids' Thanksgiving celebrations and after school snacks. Its always a winner!
