CRY BABY COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sorghum
2 eggs
Pinch salt
4 1/2 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. coffee

Cream sugar and shortening and add eggs and sorghum. Sift dry ingredients together 3 times, except baking soda which is added to coffee. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with the coffee to which soda has been added. Stir in raisins and nuts. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
