2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice

Blend all with 2 cups beer. Add 1 cup dates and nuts. Place in an ungreased tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool in pan 6-8 hours.
