CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lg. head cabbage
1 bunch celery
2 green peppers
6 lg. onions
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 env. onion soup mix

Chop everything into bite size chunks and put into 5 quart or larger pot. Add water to cover. Boil 10 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.

You can also add 1/2 cup vinegar and Italian spices.
