EFFORTLESS FIVE-HOUR STEW | |
2 lbs. stewing beef, cut in bite-size pieces 12 sm. onions 1 c. chopped celery 2 potatoes, cut in lengths 6 carrots, cut 1 inch pieces 1 slice white bread, cubed 1 c. water 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce with cheese 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Combine all ingredients in casserole. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. |
