PEAR CRUNCH 
2 qt. home cooked pears, drained
2 blocks butter
1 c. chopped pecans
1 box yellow cake mix

In a 9x13x2 inch pan, melt 1 block butter. Spread drained pears to cover bottom of pan. Put dry cake mix, spread over pears, slice pats of butter over cake mix, spread pecans over all. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
