MARINARA SAUCE 
Saute:

2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced

Add:

2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. red wine
2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf

Simmer for 25 minutes or longer if preferred. Great on spaghetti.
