CEREAL SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
2/3 c. quick or reg. oats
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 egg
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
3 tbsp. fat
1 c. boiling water
1 beef bouillon cube
3 tbsp. flour

Combine beef, oats, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup milk. Mix well and shape into 24 balls. Brown meat balls in hot fat. Cover with water in which bouillon cube has been dissolved. Cover pan and allow to simmer gently until balls are done, about 30 minutes. Remove balls from pan and stir in flour. Add remaining milk and stir until gravy is smooth and thick. Add meat balls to gravy and serve. Yield 24 balls, 4-5 servings.
