MARY LOUIS DESSERT 
1 box vanilla wafers, rolled fine

Add 2 tablespoons melted butter; press 1/2 into 8 x 8 inch pan lined with wax paper. Top with 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/2 cups icing sugar, 2 whole eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Whip 1/2 pint whipping cream. Add 1 can of well drained pineapple; pour on icing. Mix. Top with rest of crumbs and chopped maraschino cherries
