CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
1/4 c. flour
3-4 skinned chicken breasts, split
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 c. prepared pasta sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil

Lightly flour the chicken breasts and fry in oil until golden brown. Set aside to drain on paper towel. In the chicken drippings left in the skillet, cook the green pepper, onion and mushrooms about 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown. Add sauce and seasonings. Place chicken breasts in shallow baking pan in one layer. Cover with sauce. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is tender. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
