COTTAGE CHEESE AND NOODLES 
12 oz. egg noodles (try spinach or whole wheat)
16 oz. lg. curd cottage cheese
3 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper

Cook noodles and drain. Melt butter in skillet. Saute onions until translucent. Add noodles. Continue to saute while adding cottage cheese. Saute until almost dry and beginning to brown. Season.

My family always made this dish. They called it "Luckshion" which I'm not sure how to spell. Does anyone know the derivation of this dish or the correct spelling? Thanks! BB

Bonnie... I believe this recipe is SLOVAK and my grandmother made it often, she added chopped green cabbage to the browning onions.... I am 80 years old and have made it without the cabbage for some time now... babci's used home made kluski in place of the store bought egg noodles.
