LASAGNE QUICK AND EASY 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 (32 oz.) jar tomato sauce, meat flavor
4 c. Mozzarella cheese
1 (8 oz.) Ricotta or cottage cheese
1 box lasagna noodles
2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. basil
1 tbsp. onion flakes
1 tbsp. oregano

1. Boil water for lasagne noodles in 4 quart pan, with a little oil and salt.

2. While waiting for the water to boil, start on your sauce. In a heavy skillet, brown your ground beef and then drain off the fat.

3. Add your tomato sauce, spices and let simmer for 15 minutes.

4. When water begins to boil add your lasagna noodles, one at a time and boil for 12 to 15 minutes.

5. Preheat oven 350 degrees.

6. In a large baking dish (3 quart or 9x13 or larger) add two spoonfuls of meat sauce and spread a thin layer on the bottom of the dish.

7. Then layer of noodles 3 or 4 across.

8. Then a layer of meat sauce, about 4 spoonfuls, spread on top of noodles.

9. Then 4 spoonfuls of Ricotta/cottage cheese on to of meat sauce - spread.

10. Then 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese on top of the cottage cheese - spread.

11. Repeat layers of noodles, sauce, Ricotta/cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, making about 3 layers of lasagne.

12. On the top layer you cover with Parmesan cheese.

13. Bake in oven 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

14. Serve with additional Parmesan on top (optional). Serves 8.
