ALMOND CHICKEN | |
4 chicken breast, sliced in strips Garlic salt Beaten egg Cornstarch 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. chicken broth 1 tbsp. soy sauce or Kikkoman marinade 1/2 c. white or cider vinegar 1/4 c. ketchup 1 tsp. monosodium glutamate (opt.) Almonds Sesame seeds Take cut up chicken and sprinkle with garlic salt. Dip in beaten egg and then dip in cornstarch. Fry just until browned. Make sauce (which can be doubled, or thickened to your taste) out of sugar, chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup and monosodium glutamate. Pour sauce over chicken and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Serve over rice and top with almonds and sesame seeds. |
