| STRAWBERRY WALNUT CAKE | |

1 box white cake mix 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries 3 eggs 1/2 c. walnuts FROSTING: 1 med. Cool Whip 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding 1/4 c. milk Mix 1 white cake mix with 1 package of strawberry and 3 eggs, stir, then mix 1/2 cup walnuts and stir. Pour into well greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Cool. Then frost with following. VANILLA CREME FROSTING: Mix 1 medium Cool Whip, 1 package instant vanilla pudding and 1/4 cup of milk. Stir until mixed well. | |

This recipe needs some adjusting and more details so I thought I would give my help. I blended the walnuts in the blender and pureed the thawed frozen strawberries. The cake was delicious but a bit thick and somewhat dry. Even after I added white chocolate chips. I am thinking next time to add something to add moisture maybe mascapone cheese? I have to admit the pureed strawberries add such a organic flavor. I will master this recipe and keep you in touch!
