AUNT EDNA'S GRATED APPLE PIE

1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour

Add cinnamon or apple pie spice (to taste).

1 egg
3 c. shredded or grated apples, with peelings

Mix together and bake in a 9 inch deep dish pie shell.
