LAYERED GREEN PEA SALAD 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. sliced celery
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. dried basil
1/3 c. sour cream
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Layer first nine ingredients in order given in a 1 quart serving bowl. Cover and chill at least 4 hours. Top with bacon and toss just before serving.
