NUTJAMMER COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. fine chopped walnuts
1 (12 oz.) jar jam (apricot or peach)
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. 10X sugar

Cream butter and cheese. Sift flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture. Chill dough 2 to 3 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix nuts, jam and granulated sugar. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Work with 1/4 dough at a time. Refrigerate other. Roll dough into very thin (1/16 inch) on lightly floured cloth covered board. Cut 2 inch squares. Place on baking sheet. Place 1 teaspoon nut mix in center and top with another 2 inch square. Press edges with fork. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
