WATTS' MEAT STEW 
I have used both beef bouillon and bone broth for extra beefy flavor.

1 lb. cubed beef (your choice of cut)
4 cups water
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, chopped
4 beef bouillon cubes or 1/2 cup bone broth
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
1 (15 oz.) can cut green beans (undrained)

In a large saucepan, brown cubed beef. Drain if needed. Add the next 7 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Add the can of diced tomatoes (you may substitute a can of whole tomatoes but break them up with your hands before adding to the pot). Add the can of cut green beans. Cover and simmer 15 minutes longer or until the beans are tender.
