BANANA WHEAT BREAD | |
2 c. whole wheat flour 1/4 c. wheat germ 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 c. mashed ripe banana 1/4 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. honey 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped pecans Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Combine banana, oil, honey, eggs, and vanilla; mix well. Make a well in center of dry ingredients; add banana mixture and stir just until moistened. Spoon into well-greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until bread tests done. |
