SURPRISE WALNUT CAKE 
Cake:

2 cups prepared biscuit-mix
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
3/4 cup salad oil
1 tsp. orange or lemon extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 cup chopped walnuts

Blend ingredients. Mixture will be loose. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350°F for 30 minutes or until cake test done.

Icing:

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp. orange or lemon extract

Meanwhile boil and stir sugar, water and extract until sugar is dissolved. Pour over cake when it is taken from oven. Store covered in refrigerator.
