COCONUT PUDDIN' 
FILLING:

2 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 (7 oz.) bag coconut
1 bay vanilla wafers

Mix all filling ingredients except coconut and wafers into a broiler and cook until it thickens. Remove from heat; let cool. Stir in coconut. In pudding bowl, layer wafers and filling until filled. Top with topping and put in oven for about 5 minutes or until topping is browned.

TOPPING:

2 egg whites
3 tbsp. sugar

Beat egg whites until peaks form. Add sugar and beat a few minutes more.

If using can milk, use half and half with water. (1/2 c.m./1/2 c.w.)
