CRANBERRY RELISH MOLD | |
2 c. cranberries 1 sm. orange 1/2 c. sugar 1 pkg. orange gelatin 1 c. hot water 1/2 c. juice (from drained cranberry mixture) 1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped 1/2 c. red apples, finely chopped Grind orange and cranberries together. Add sugar and let stand overnight. Next day drain and save juice, which is 1/2 cup. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add juice, place in refrigerator until it begins to congeal. Add drained cranberries, celery, apples and nuts. Pour into ring mold and chill thoroughly. Take from mold and place on crisp green lettuce leaves. |
