GLAZED APPLE BARS 
3 med. apples, peeled & sliced
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter, cut into pieces
Glaze
Ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch baking pan. In medium bowl, combine apples, granulated sugar and raisins. Set aside.

In large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda. With pastry blender cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press half of the mixture into prepared pan. Layer apple mixture evenly over crumbs; press gently. Top with remaining mixture of crumbs. Press gently. Bake 30 minutes or until brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Drizzle with glaze and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.

GLAZE:

In small bowl combine 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 4 teaspoons water. Stir until smooth.
