ROPE TWISTS 
5 c. flour
3 eggs (beaten)
1 oz. yeast
1 lb. salted butter (melted and cooled)
1/4 c. milk (about)

Mix everything together at once. Roll out dough on lightly floured board and cut into strings about 1/2 inch thick and 7 inch long; twist. Let strings rise for 2 hours in warm place. Bake 15-20 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
