1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1/2 c. water 1/3 c. chopped onion 1 tsp. celery 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 c. water 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoon into balls. Place meat balls in ungreased baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2 inch. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake 45 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer. |
