1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. + 1 tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Sift flour, cocoa and salt together. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs and blend. Add sifted dry ingredients, vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips. Spread evenly in greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
