COOKED COCOA FROSTING 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated cream
2/3 c. cocoa
1 stick butter

Mix all ingredients in large pot; bring to a boil, stirring often. Cook 4 minutes after it begins boiling. This frosting can be used on any cake which goes well with cocoa.

My former mother in law taught me this recipe but she cooked everything except the butter until is was pretty thick then she added the butter last. I have not made this in years but it was wonder on duncan Hines butter recipe cake.It is so good and hard to mess up this frosting.
