BOSTON BROWN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. rye flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. whole or skim milk
1/2 c. blackstrap molasses
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped, toasted sunflower seeds
Coffee cans for cooking

Take at least 3 hours to cook, so start early. Grease and dust with cornmeal or flour, 1 (2 lb.) coffee can or 3 (20 oz.) cans or 5 (12 oz.) cans.
