CRANBERRY SALAD RING 
4 (3 oz.) pkg. black raspberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
4 1/2 c. cold water
2 c. fresh cranberries, chopped fine
2 orange, deseeded, unpeeled and ground
2 apples, cored, unpeeled and ground
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 c. sugar
1 c. ground pecans

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, then add cold water stirring briskly. chill until the consistency of unbeaten egg white. Combine remaining ingredients and fold into the gelatin mixture. Pour or spoon into a lightly oiled 10-cup ring mold and refrigerate until firm. Unmold on lettuce leaves and fill the center of the ring with mayonnaise or dressing and garnish with orange slices.

For an extra flavor/taste - add 1/4 cup chopped fine celery and for the dressing use 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese softened, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup salad dressing all blended together. Very good.
