ELEANOR'S PASTRY 
6 c. flour
1 lb. lard
1 beaten egg
1 egg
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 to 1 c. water

Mix flour and lard until like bread crumbs. Mix egg then drops of vinegar and water until have used all; mix together and let rest in refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Roll and use for pies.
