SALTY PEANUT COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal
1 (12 oz.) can Spanish peanuts

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs. Add baking powder, soda and flour. Mix well. Stir in oatmeal and peanuts. Drop by teaspoon full and bake for 8-10 minutes at 350.
