1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar gradually. Add soda to applesauce and add to butter and sugar. Add rest of ingredients and bake in buttered, floured pan for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
