1 pkg. Duncan Hines Devil's Food Deluxe Cake Mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Pecan halves or walnut chips

Blend cake mix, oil and eggs. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop from a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, top each cookie with a pecan half or add 1/2 cup of walnuts to batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until cookie test done with a toothpick. Makes 4 to 5 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies. (Recipe given to me by Dottie Tomar, my sister-in-law.)
