HEAVENLY HASH BROWNS 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns (Ore-Ida)
French onion dip (Lipton onion soup mix and 8 oz. sour cream)
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 stick melted butter
1/2 c. milk

Mix these ingredients in large bowl to coat potatoes.

TOPPING:

Mix 2 c. crushed flake cereal (Corn Flakes, Special K) with 1/2 to 3/4 stick melted butter. Put over top of potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes in a 9 x 13 dish.
