CHICKEN CURRY 
1 lb. chicken (pieces)
1 med. sized onion
1 med. sized tomato
3 cloves garlic
2 inch piece ginger
2 green peppers
2 inch piece cinnamon
4 black peppers
3 cloves
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
1/4 tsp. turmeric
Coriander leaves
4 tbsp. oil

Remove skin from chicken and set aside. Grind ginger, garlic, green peppers, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper. Cut onion into thin slices and fry until golden brown. Add chicken and fry until chicken is also brown. Add finely chopped tomato and ground ingredients with chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric.

Put on low heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Stir until tomato is tender and mixture sticks to pan. Add 1 1/2 cups water and salt. Boil. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves. Serve with rice.
