PLUM PUDDING 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. currants
1 c. molasses (unsulphured)
1 c. milk
1 lg. egg, beaten
1 c. shredded beef suet

Sift together flour, baking powder, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Grind together suet, raisins and currants; add to sifted dry ingredients. Add molasses, milk and egg; mix well. Put mixture into 2-pound coffee can. Cover with aluminum foil; tie with a string. Steam 3 hours.
