HOMEMADE GUACAMOLE 
Makes a great addition to enchiladas, tacos or Pozole (hominy).

3 Hass avocados, mashed
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup minced red onion, diced and rinsed in cold water
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. lime juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
cayenne pepper, to taste

In a medium bowl, mash the avocados until they reach the desired consistency. Add the tomatoes, red onion, and garlic. Combine, then add lime juice and spices.

Serve chilled or room temperature with your favorite tortilla chips. Lasts 1-2 days in the refrigerator.

Tip: Also works great when you substitute Herdez salsa for the tomatoes, onion, and cayenne!
