BAKED BEANS 
1 1/2 c. Navy beans
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. catsup
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. baking soda
8 slices bacon
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 or 4 tbsp. molasses

Wash and soak beans in water and soda overnight, in the morning, drain. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Cook, slowly for 1/2 hour. Drain and put in bean pot. Add remainder ingredients and bake in a slow oven for 4 to 5 hours.
