1 doz. eggs
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Beat egg whites very stiff and add soda and sugar. Beat until mixed. Add a few drops of vanilla if desired. Beat egg yolks stiff. Then fold very gently into white mixture, stirring from bottom up. Do not beat after mixing the two together.
