GRANDMA'S BEAN SOUP 
1/2 to 3/4 c. onions, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 c. celery, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 c. carrots, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 can beef broth
5 c. water
1 (#2) can Italian tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp. basil
1 c. frozen corn
1 c. frozen French style green beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can Navy beans
Tabasco to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute fresh vegetables. Add next 4 ingredients. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add corn and beans. Simmer 20 minutes. Add beans. Heat through.
