CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round steak
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 lg. carrots, sliced
2 oz. can mushrooms
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 lb. fresh shrimp
1/4 c. oil
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cut steak into 1 inch strips, heat oil in large skillet, add garlic, salt, ginger, pepper, steak. Brown lightly, 2 minutes. Push to side and add green pepper and onion, cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients, cook 30 minutes longer. Serve over rice.
