MR. POTTS BREAKFAST | |
4 slices bacon 1/2 c. butter 1/2 lb. ham steak, cubed 1 c. mushrooms 1/2 c. flour 4 c. milk 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. salt 16 eggs 1 can evaporated milk Add eggs and evaporated milk together and beat. Scramble with 1 1/4 cups butter. Saute' bacon. Break into pieces and return to pan. Do not pour off fat. Add 1/4 cup butter, ham and mushrooms. Cook briefly. Sprinkle with flour and stir well. Gradually add milk. Cook until thick and smooth. Season with pepper. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan or casserole dish. Layer half eggs and cream sauce. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hour at 275 degrees. |
