HONEY SOUR CREAM SPICE CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. honey
3 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. thick sour cream
3 egg whites

Cream shortening. Add sugar and honey and mix well. Add egg yolks, one at a time and beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream, beating after each addition. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in greased muffin pans in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or in cake pan for 40 minutes.
