EASY LASAGNA
32 oz. spaghetti sauce, your choice of style and brand
1 pkg. uncooked noodles, my pan takes 10
3 c. lo-fat cottage cheese
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. grated romano or Parmesan cheese
2 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated or thinly sliced

Mix together the cottage cheese, milk, and grated romano or Parmesan cheese.

Into an ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking pan, pour 1/2 of the spaghetti sauce. Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread all of the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles. Add another layer of noodles. Pour 2nd 1/2 of the sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle 2 cups of grated Mozzarella cheese on top. If you are using sliced cheese, be sure to completely cover the top.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

If meat is desired, you can use pieces of cooked chicken, or turkey, or browned hamburger or ground turkey. Meat can be added on top of each layer of spaghetti sauce. Additional spices can be added such as: dried celery leaves, parsley, chopped onion, minced garlic, basil, oregano, and pepper. No salt is necessary unless you use meat. Then you may want to add a little to the precooked browned meat. I sometimes add a small can of sliced mushrooms to the sauce.
