APPLE AND SAUSAGE SUPPER 
1 med. cooking apple, cut into 8 wedges
2 tbsp. butter
1 green pepper, cut into strips
2 tbsp. diced onions
1 lb. sausages, cut in chunks
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/2 c. apple juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
Pepper

Saute apple in butter until tender, remove from skillet. Saute peppers and onion until tender; remove from skillet. Saute sausage until brown; pour off drippings. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add water, apple juice, soy sauce, vinegar; mix well and pour over sausages. Cook slowly until thickened and clear. Cover and cook 10 minutes. Add apple, peppers and onions. Serve over hot rice.
