BLONDE TOFFEE BROWNIES | |
1 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. crushed Heath chocolate covered English toffee bar Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Cream butter and both sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Blend in dry ingredients. Stir in crushed candy. Spread over well greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. When cool, cut into bars 3 x 1 inches. If desired, you can frost or sprinkle more crushed candy on top. |
